Abstract

RESPON PUPUK KOMPOS TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SORGUM (Sorghum bicolour L.Moench) VARIETAS SOPER 9 viii verensianar@gmail.com VERENSIANA RENGA 2020610474 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum (Sorghum bicolour L. Moench) varietas Soper 9 terhadap pemberian pupuk kompos, serta menentukan dosis optimal yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Sain dan Teknologi, Universitas Flores, Ende, selama 4 bulan (Februari–Mei 2025) menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal dengan lima perlakuan dosis pupuk kompos: K0 (0 ton/ha), K1 (5 ton/ha), K2 (10 ton/ha), K3 (15 ton/ha), dan K4 (20 ton/ha), masing-masing diulang empat kali. Pemberian pupuk kompos berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap seluruh variabel pertumbuhan dan hasil. Peningkatan dosis pupuk kompos meningkatkan rata-rata panjang tanaman 6,02%, jumlah daun 5,24%, luas daun 7,88%, panjang malai 3,37%, bobot malai kering 10,47%, jumlah biji per malai 19,81%, bobot biji per tanaman 4,61%, bobot biji per hektar 4,50%, dan bobot 1000 biji 7,85%. Dosis 10 ton/ha memberikan pertumbuhan optimal pada tinggi tanaman 247,56 cm, jumlah daun 22,50 helai, luas daun 12.409,38 cm², panjang malai 35,75 cm, bobot malai kering 30,06 g, jumlah biji per malai 1.384 butir, bobot biji per tanaman 63,81 g, bobot biji/ha 3,19 ton, dan bobot 1000 biji 27,38 g.
