Abstract

ABSTRACT The Influence of Learning Motivation on the Learning Outcomes of Class X IPA Students at SMAK Negeri Ende EMANUEL NATALIS KRISTINO Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. University of Flores, 2020. Advisor 1 Dr. Sofia Sa'o, M.Pd Supervisor 2 Ariswan Usman Aje, M.Pd kristinoemanuel@gmail.com This study aims to determine how the influence of learning motivation on the Mathematics learning outcomes of Class X IPA students at SMAK Negeri Ende. The approach used is a quantitative approach. The independent variable in this study is learning motivation (X) and the dependent variable is the mathematics learning result (Y). The sample in this study was 21 students of class X IPA at SMAK Negeri Ende. Data analysis used simple linear regression, with a significance level of 5%. The results showed, (1) the mean score of the students' motivation to learn Mathematics in class X IPA at SMAK Negeri Ende was 88.14 (2) the mean value of the learning outcomes of students in class X IPA at SMAK Negeri Ende was 84.90 (3) the value of Fcount> Ftable was 15,370 > 3.12 so that there is a positive and significant influence between motivation and learning outcomes and the correlation coefficient value is 0.852 seen from the magnitude of the correlation coefficient, the level of motivation possessed by class X IPA students of SMAK Negeri Ende is classified as "very strong / high". So that it can be suggested; (1) For teachers, in addition to providing material knowledge about Mathematics, it is better if it is included with learning motivation so that it can foster enthusiasm for learning in students. (2) students are expected to be able to foster motivation within themselves, (3) for schools to be able to organize activities that can increase learning motivation Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes
