Abstract

ABSTRAK YUNIARTI HAP SARI. Mitologi Asal-Usul Sumber Mata Air Ae Kipa Di Desa Pu’utuga Kecamatan Ndona Kabupaten Ende. Skripsi. Ende. Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah. Universitas Flores. 2022. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Bagaimana mitologi asal usul munculnya mata air Ae Kipa di Desa Pu’utuga Kecamatan Ndona Kabupaten Ende? 2) Bagaimana pengaruh mitologi Ae Kipa terhadap kehidupan di Desa Pu’utuga Kecamatan Ndona Kabupaten Ende? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk mengetahui mitologi asal usul munculnya mata air Ae Kipa di Desa Pu’utuga Kecamatan Ndona Kabupaten Ende 2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh mitologi Ae Kipa terhadap kehidupan di Desa Pu’utuga Kecamatan Ndona Kabupaten Ende. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian etnografi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) pengumpulan data, 2) reduksi data 3) penyajian data, 4) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: sejarah awal munculnya mata air Ae Kipa atau yang dikenal masyarakat Pu’utuga Ae Gali yang ditemukan oleh masyarakat yaitu air yang muncul dari atas gunung. Air tersebut di percaya masyarakat Desa Pu’utuga bahwa air yang turun dari atas gunung dan katanya pada saat itu ada seorang nenek yang bernama nenek Songge yang tinggal bersama cucunya yaitu Dori. Pada waktu itu Dori memaksa nenek Songge untuk memunuhi keinginannya, akan tetapi nenek Songe tidak bisa memenuhi keinginannya dan si nenek hanya memberikan air kencing untuk cucunya yaitu Dori. Kondisi sumber mata air Ae Kipa tergolong belum baik karena dilihat dari keberadaan sumber mata air yang jauh dari rumah penduduk. Dimana jika masyarakat yang ingin pergi ke sumber mata air Ae Kipa harus berjalan kaki dan jalan yang ditempuh masih berbentuk tanah, bebatuan dan banyak pepohonan yang membuat masyarakat kesulitan dalam menempuh perjalanan ke sumber mata air Ae Kipa. Pandangan masyarakat terhadap pemanfaatan sumber mata air Ae Kipa dimana masyarakat Desa Pu’utuga merasa sangat bersyukur dengan keberadaan Ae Kipa sebab sumber mata air tersebut banyak kegunaannya. Kebutuhan mata air Ae Kipa sangat terpenuhi dan kegunaan airnya untuk kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari seperti mandi dan mencuci dan sebagian untuk menyiram tanaman seperti cabai, tomat dan juga pada saat musim kemarau untuk menyiram tanaman siri. Pengaruh mitologi Ae Kipa terhadap kehidupan sehari-hari adalah masyarakat percaya bahwa air ini bisa menyembuhkan penyakit seperti alergi, cacar air, sakit pinggang, gatal-gatal dan lain-lain. Upaya masyarakat dalam melestarikan sumber mata air Ae Kipa adalah masyarakat bergotong royong membersihkan tempat di sekitar mata air Ae Kipa. Kata Kunci: Mitologi, asal-usul, mata air Ae Kipa. The problems raised in this study are 1) What is the mythology of the origin of the emergence of the Ae Kipa spring in Pu'utuga Village, Ndona District, Ende Regency? 2) How is the influence of Ae Kipa mythology on life in Pu'utuga Village, Ndona District, Ende Regency? This study aims to: 1) To find out the mythology of the origin of the emergence of Ae Kipa springs in Pu'utuga Village, Ndona District, Ende Regency 2) to determine the influence of Ae Kipa mythology on life in Pu'utuga Village, Ndona District, Ende Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic research approach. Collecting data using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study are: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: the early history of the emergence of the Ae Kipa spring or known to the community as Pu'utuga Ae Gali which was found by the community, namely water that emerged from the top of the mountain. The water is believed by the people of Pu'utuga Village that the water descends from the top of the mountain and he said at that time there was a grandmother named Songge's grandmother who lived with her granddaughter, Dori. At that time Dori forced Songge's grandmother to fulfill her wish, but Songe's grandmother could not fulfill her wish and the grandmother only gave urine to her granddaughter, Dori. The condition of the Ae Kipa springs is classified as not good because it can be seen from the existence of the springs that are far from people's homes. Where if people who want to go to Ae Kipa springs have to walk and the roads they take are still in the form of dirt, rocks and many trees which make it difficult for people to travel to Ae Kipa springs. People's views on the use of Ae Kipa springs where the people of Pu'utuga Village feel very grateful for the existence of Ae Kipa because the springs have many uses. The needs of the Ae Kipa spring are very well met and the use of the water is for daily living needs such as bathing and washing and partly for watering plants such as chilies, tomatoes and also during the dry season to water Siri plants. The influence of Ae Kipa mythology on daily life is that people believe that this water can cure diseases such as allergies, chicken pox, back pain, itching and others. The community's effort in preserving the Ae Kipa springs is that the community works together to clean up the area around the Ae Kipa springs.
